LIGHTNING RELEASES 09/02/14 –DATAVERSITY® and DAMA International announced today that the 19th annual Enterprise Data World Conference and Expo is now accepting presentation submissions. The conference is scheduled for March 29th – April 2nd, 2015, at the Grand Hyatt Washington, D.C. Visit to review event details, speaker submission guidelines, and to submit your proposal online before the submission deadline of October 6th, 2014.

Available presentation slots include three-hour workshops and tutorials, 45 to 50-minute regular conference sessions, case studies, five-minute lightning talks, and panel discussions.

Tony Shaw, CEO of DATAVERSITY, describes the conference as “the most comprehensive data management educational conference in the world” and he is “looking for the best presentations to fill this five-day program”. Conference organizers are expecting nearly 1,000 Business and IT professionals to attend this vendor-neutral data management conference, so the quality of the program is of utmost importance.

Topics to be considered for this year’s agenda include, but are not limited to, the following:

Data Governance & Stewardship

Big Data

Master Data Management (MDM)

Data Architecture

Enterprise Information Management

Data Quality

Unstructured Data

Data-driven Business

Analytics and Business Intelligence

Cloud-based Data

New Data Management Technologies

Data & Application Integration

Management & Methods

Agile Data

Hundreds of presentations are submitted for this program each year. All will be considered, however, selected proposals will meet the following guidelines:

Presenters must provide a concise abstract outlining what attendees will learn and why/how it is useful to them. They should devote the majority of the presentation to solutions, not overviews, of common problems. The presentation should offer content targeted to a specific audience: Management, Modeler, Analyst, or Enterprise Architect. Presentations can also outline a detailed case study from personal experience with lessons learned or should discuss management analysis and efficient cost/time saving measures. Finally, presentations should include guidelines and road maps for organizations considering new solutions.

Selected presentations will be approved by the committee and announced to presenters individually by October 27th, 2014.
