Summer is Over – Tips for Back to School Preparation from Mommy’s Time Out!

LIGHTNING RELEASES (8/7/2014) – As mothers everywhere juggle the stress of preparing for a new school year and a seemingly endless list of things to do, it can seem as if the end of summer is the most stressful time of year.

Between back-to-school shopping and summer reading list patrol, when does Mom get to relax? Now, Mommies have their own way to chill: Enjoying a glass of Mommy’s Time Out Wine, a smooth, fruity antidote to the frenzied end of summer.

“With the summer over and September here Mom finally gets her own time out!   What better way for Mom to kick back and relax than with great wine, delicious food and wonderful friends?” said Brand Representative Michael Cincotta.

Mommy’s Time Out has Mom’s back with four fool-proof strategies for making the end of summer a no-sweat zone.

ï Make sure all reading and summer work is on track. Make it fun.  For every hour or two of work a week, give a prize or a special reward like an extra half-hour of video game time. It will make the transition after summer smoother.

ï There are many coupons and sales during August, but save the real shopping for late September, when the super sales begin.  Remember, too, that kids will want what their friends are wearing. Why buy ahead only to have them beg you for something else once school starts?

ï Begin wake up calls a little earlier each morning to prep for the real early wake up calls that begin in September. This will help everyone adjust to their earlier schedules.

ï Give yourself a break from the chaos that surrounds this time of year and celebrate the orderliness of school. Take an hour for yourself, even if it is just sitting in bed and reading with a relaxing glass of wine. Whatever takes the stress away will give you peace of mind for the coming months.

Cincotta noted that following a hard day of work, juggling errands and driving to all kinds of practices and tutoring, a glass of wine and some peace and quiet would be a welcomed Mommy’s time out.

Mommy’s Time Out wine comes in four varieties: Mommy’s Time Out Garganega Pinot Grigio, Mommy’s Time Out Moscato, Mommy’s Time Out Delicious Red and Mommy’s Time Out Delicious Pink.  All are made from grapes grown in Italy and have wonderful fruity undertones.  They are delicious for sipping with snacks or to complement a meal.

He also notes that Mommy’s Time Out should be enjoyed responsibly by adults over the age of 21.

Mommy’s Time Out has a suggested retail of $9.99. For more information on where it is available, please go to
