Advanced Wall Technologies’ Encapsulated Berm and Construction Method is Awarded Third Patent

LIGHTNING RELEASES: RICHMOND, Va. (5/22/2014) — Advanced Wall Technologies, LLC is pleased to announce that on May 20, 2014, the third of seven anticipated patents was issued (Patent No. 8,727,664) from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the core technology behind its state-of-the-art encapsulated berm and construction method.

The AWT system is a SAFER option then a traditional MSE Berm.  The encapsulated AWT MSE Berm System provides liquid/pore pressure management proactively by removing liquids via this patented drainage system.  No liquids = No liquefaction!

The AWT System gives clients a significant economic benefit alternative by creating airspace (expansion) with very little capital cost.  This is compared to traditional methods of berm construction.
