The OLA Spring Sumimt today announced they are a forum for the short-term online lending industry to collaborate on solutions to challenges and combating negative regulatory threats facing our businesses each day. Founded in 2005, The Online Lenders Alliance is an organization representing the growing industry of U.S. based companies offering online consumer short-term loans.
The OLA Spring Summit is the industry’s flagship public policy event where members unite to dispel myths, clear up the misconceptions, and educate the public, legislators and regulators about the demand and need for online consumer short-term loans. Each spring, OLA draws hundreds of industry leaders to Capitol Hill to explore current legislative and regulatory issues impacting the online lending industry.
The event is April 30-May 2, 2014 in Washington DC. The hallmark of the OLA Spring Summit is an afternoon on Capitol Hill meeting with policymakers and legislators. Hill meetings with members of Congress have become one of the most influential industry activities. This is our chance to educate and inform policy makers. Come for the networking and OLA will take care of the rest.
Each year, the Summit’s agenda focuses on discussing issues with legislators, including Senators and Representatives, and some of the best leaders in the financial services sector. The agenda is always packed full of content focusing on legislative and regulatory topics and business critical issues affecting our industry.
