Emy Mack Shoes on the Runway at Austin Fashion Week with Designer, Adrienne Yunger

LIGHTNING RELEASES: Austin, TX. (4/28/2014) -  Emy Mack Shoes will join custom bridal and couture designer Adrienne Yunger during a runway show at Austin Fashion Week on Thursday, May 1, 2014. The show will take place at the Austin Music Hall from 6PM to 10PM alongside local and national labels such as The Ross Bennett Collection. Austin Fashion Week is a regional event platform that showcases emerging designers and rising stars in fashion.

Austin Fashion Week will be Emy Mack’s fourth runway show in 2014. In February 2014, Emy Mack joined couture designer David Tlale at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City. In his Fall/Winter 2014 Collection, Tlale paired all 40 custom ready-to-wear looks with shoes from Emy Mack. During Spring 2014, Emy Mack collaborated with designer and Project Runway alum, Helen Castillo, in Atlantic City and again in Palm Desert, CA for El Paseo Fashion Week. Castillo showcased her collection of tailored eveningwear, including her signature cape design, with other Project Runway alums like Michael Costello and Irina Shabayeva.

Designer and owner of Emy Mack Shoes, Emily Mack Jamison, says, “This year has brought so many opportunities to collaborate with talented apparel designers. We are burning up the runways in 2014 and couldn’t be happier to share Emy Mack with shoe lovers across the U.S.”

Emy Mack has recently expanded its retail footprint to include boutiques in cities such as Milwaukee, WI, Seattle, WA and Chicago, IL, among many others in its already strong portfolio of upscale stores.

In working directly with owners or buyers of the boutiques and shoe salons where her collection is sold, Jamison also says, “My goal is to personalize the Emy Mack brand. Buying shoes should be a fun process—an experience.”

Jamison’s approach to collaborating with other designers is similar. She elaborates, “We are all working towards the same goal of building brand awareness and reaching our customers. Showing on the runway is an opportunity for a variety of audiences to see our shoes in action, especially when they are paired with well-made apparel.”

American shoe designer, Emy Mack, creates women’s ready-to-wear shoes. The Emy Mack collection is made in Italy in the same facilities as several well-known luxury brands. Emy Mack Shoes have been featured nationally on Project Runway, VH1 Gossip Table, and in the pages of Women’s Wear Daily (WWD), Marie Claire, Modern Luxury, Whirl Magazine, and many others.

Emy Mack styles are produced in exclusive, limited edition quantities and can be purchased online (U.S.) at www.EmyMack.com, internationally at www.runway2street.com, and in upscale fashion boutiques nationwide. A complete list of retailers is available at www.EmyMack.com.
