Prakash Singh Badal, Punjab Media exhort Khalistan views from NRI’s, Canadian Politicians at NRI Sammelan

Vancouver BC. NRI Sammelan, Punjab promises a package for NRI’s, who are facing innumerous issues in Punjab, on the basis of their Rights on properties, False cases, proclaimed offenders list and civil litigations in Punjab and Haryana High courts, since over 25 years. Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, Prakash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Badal, all have promised the “moon”, during the NRI Punjab Sammelan, for the last 12 years. Their cabinet ministers and advisor’s spend the tax payers money for Canada, USA and U.K., trips, with false promises, to solve their problems.

Another burning issue with the Punjab Non Resident ( NRP), is the drug trade in Punjab, thus limiting their visits and evading re-settlement in Punjab. Young Punjab Non Resident, is not at all interested in the worsened culture and politics in Punjab, which has given a high rise to the unemployment in Punjab. Young Punjab NRI has convinced their migrated parents that “going to Punjab”, is not only a loosing proposition, but a failure of the Government of Punjab. South America, is the resettlement destination for NRP’s settled in Canada, USA, UK.

Indian Overseas Congress, executive, Punjab Canadian Foundation, FIIA, Association of Indian Doctors of America, Overseas BJP executive attended the Bharitya Parvasi Divas, in New Delhi, brought to the attention of Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, Vyalar Ravi, on the issue of India and State “Voting Rights”, to be allowed via Ballot and Email in Foreign countries, new incentives for Youth NRI, in education and culture.

Punjab has a history of drug related problems which has escalated, in the last 7 years of SAD-BJP, rule in Punjab, with the Punjab Police hauling over Rs. 3000 crore of drugs, annually, while a large portion exported to Canada, Mexico and other parts of India. Highly placed sources in Punjab Police inform that “Punjab Falls in the triangle of drug route, alongwith Afghanistan and Pakistan”, with easy routes to foreign countries, through Air and Sea. Punjab Pradesh Congress has launched a movement against “drug lords”, of Punjab who are connected to the political masters, for patronage and Gen. Secretary Sukhpal Singh Khaira has requested NRI’s and Politicians to boycott the NRI Sammelan 2014, to highlight the issue in Punjab.

Indian Overseas Congress, with chapters in USA, Canada, U.K., Germany, Australia, New Zealand, S.Africa, Italy have agreed to boycott the NRI Sammellan, not only for Drug problem, but also requesting Chief Minister of Punjab Prakash Singh Badal and Punjab Media, to exhort the views of Canadian M.P.’s namely Jasbir Sandhu, Nina Grewal, Tim Uppal, Bal Gosal, Manmeet Bhullar, Lord Daljit Rana, editors and publishers of Punjabi Media, their views on “Khalistan”, in Canada , USA, U.K. and Australia. Recently Consul General of India Toronto, Canada, Akhilesh Mishra refused visa to NDP MLA. Jagmeet Singh Dhaliwal, who too was to attend NRI Sammelan in Jullundur, on the advise of Home Minister of India.

IOC General Secretary Sunil Malhotra challenges Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal and BJP President Kamal Sharma, Punjab Media to exhort views on “Khalistan”, from the NRI’s attending , who are Punjab State Guests for the NRI Sammelan, organized by Bikram Majithia, NRI Minister.

“Dear Chief Minister Badal Sahib, let us know who controls Punjab at this NRI Sammelan”, said Dr. Rajwant Sidhu .
