The concert is presented by the Catalina United Methodist Church of Tucson (http://catalinamethodist.org/) in association with Picture Arizona, LLC, d/b/a Spin Arizona. (www.picarizona.com)
Malaria is a deadly and fully preventable disease which needlessly kills millions of people every year, largely due to lack of access to treatment. Over 90 percent of the deaths from Malaria are children and pregnant women. Imagine No Malaria uses an integrative approach of prevention using nets and water drainage, treatment with rapid diagnosis kits and medicine, and education on symptoms and myths of the disease.
