TARENTUM, Pa. — A current increase in the request for repairs has led DigiExpress, the leader in iPod, iPhone and iPad repair, to increase the amount of technicians specializing in Apple device repairs.
Beginning in late July and continuing through August, demands for device repairs increased dramatically. This sudden influx of repairs caused the company to increase its number of repair technicians in each of its iPod, iPhone and iPad divisions.
“The amount of repairs coming into our facility has been growing,” said Craig Clawson, company spokesperson. “Repair numbers increasing has allowed us to hire more staff. It’s a great thing for us to be able to open jobs, especially in this economy.”
Technicians are trained in repairing damaged screens, volume issues, battery trouble, charging problems and any other problems that can arise with Apple’s devices.
Earlier this year, DigiExpress completed its 200,000 order, which means there isn’t a problem that it hasn’t already seen.
“We’ve seen every Apple device and any conceivable problem,” said Clawson. “Our technicians are trained to perform the most detailed repairs. And because we’ve seen it all, there’s a high probability that we will be able to fix any device.”
DigiExpress started in 2007, repairing Apple’s original iPod models. As Apple continues to introduce new devices to the public, DigiExpress technicians continue to learn how to repair the most current devices.
“Our technicians are always learning,” said Clawson. “We take pride in being able to fix the newest Apple products, especially the newest ones because they are the most expensive to replace. This is why our technicians are always learning and being prepared for the newest additions to the Apple lineup.”
