Emotional Abuse Recovery – “We All Matter” Video From Arteria Stevens
Loganville, GA - Recently debuting online, inspirational author Arteria Stevens out of Atlanta, Georgia released a motivational video outlining her story as a victim of sexual abuse – a childhood and early adulthood filled with mental and emotional abuse. From the time the motivational author was a child, she was the victim of intense emotional distress resulting from years of sexual abuse at the hands of family members and family friends that she had been raised to trust. As she grew older, the sex abuse did not cease as she was the victim of multiple detrimental sexual encounters perpetrated by people in her community – even including the minister and clergyman of her church. Entering marriage at a young age and quickly into motherhood, her infant child also fell prey to sexual abuse and her marriage struggled along due to her husband’s past sexual abuse as well.
Because the Atlanta author had suffered so much adversity in her life, her motivational writings come from a place of understanding. Her constant messages of hope have inspired and continue to inspire those who have experienced the calamity that she has experienced as well. In the video, a series of images containing the Atlanta and her story as handwritten on signs are displayed. Arteria Stevens hopes that this video reaches those with emotional wounds that have turned into emotional scars in order to let them know that they do matter and have a place in this world. She continues to be an inspiration to those online with her emotional healing website, The Healing Roads, where she also provides her memoir by the same title as well as other published works help individuals cope from past emotional trauma.
