In advance of the New year Joel O’Loughlin newly appointed Business and Current Affairs Correspondent for Africans in London Television (AILTV) announced that the station is in advanced talks on developing an historic partnership with the Health & Social care Black & Minority Ethnic Network. The link up will provide a medium for BME health service staff to articulate their interests and concerns. In making the announcement he said “the NHS in the country’s largest employer of minorities and 200,000 people will definitiely have interesting stories to tell. We will profile the unsung heroes of the health service and show them as you rarely see them”. Watch this space for a further announcement in the New Year.
