Pop Sensation Zedakiah Soars with “Little Things”
Zedakiah may only be 14 years old and new to Los Angeles, but his talent has captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands across the globe via the Internet.
Hollywood, California. - Zedakiah was only 11 years old when he first “wowed the crowd” by singing an a cappella version of the national anthem for thousands of Lakers fans. The moment was captured on cell phone cameras and uploaded to YouTube. A star was born.
After more than 100 encore performances of the national anthem at major sporting events Zedakiah began creating his own brand of mainstream pop music. His new release of the catchy song “Little Things” is gaining steam and streams online and his fans base has increased exponentially. He has been sharing it exclusively on the Internet with rousing results and impressive audience numbers via YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
It wasn’t always easy for the young singer. Zedakiah worked hard to rise above his modest beginnings in a poor neighborhood near Omaha Nebraska. He began performing and honing his craft by entering talent shows and contests across the country.
“When I was 10 I entered a talent composition in Chicago and took first place for acting and singing,” shares the pop star. “I got all these offers to come to Los Angeles, and so I did and ever since then, I have been living the dream.”
Relocating to Los Angeles, Zedakiah has already worked with top music artists like Michael Bolton, rubbed elbows with Snoop Dog, and appeared on television shows including 3 skits on Jimmy Kimmel Live and an appearance at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He’s even got SAG-AFTRA status and plans on making a move into movies. Not bad for a newcomer in a new city known for being tough on talent.
Zedakiah is thrilled with the stellar growth of his online popularity and Twitter fans, but he is setting his sights on reaching even more people with his new single “Little Things” which he co-wrote in 2012.
“My love and passion is my influence for making music,” he says, “and to be what I dream…and to succeed.” We’re guessing the throngs of adoring female fans can be inspiring to a 14-year-old pop singer, too.
