THE ONE EYED GYPSY AND MASTER ESCAPE ARTIST CURTIS LOVELL II
On the 86th anniversary of the death of the legendary escape artist, the great Harry Houdini, The One-Eyed Gypsy, and master illusionist and escape artist Curtis Lovell II (www.curtislovell.com) present on stage a terrifying spectacle of entombment. Performing one of Houdini’s greatest escapes, for the second time in his career, Curtis Lovell II will be making this feat even more terrifying and daring than the first time he performed it.
Restrained by TWO sets of handcuffs, and TWENTY feet of chain, and encased in a coffin wrapped with an additional THIRTY feet of chain secured with TWO combination locks, the audience will watch as Curtis is BURIED under ONE THOUSAND POUNDS of soil. While they hold their breath, both figuratively and literally, Curtis Lovell II will attempt to escape his dreadful tomb. Will he succeed? Find out on Halloween night, at 9.30 PM.

ABOUT CURTIS LOVELL II
At age 7, after Curtis Lovell II’s father pulled a coin magically from his ear, he has immersed himself in the world of magic and the history of Harry Houdini. His relentless work ethic combined with astonishing talent, skill, vision and daring escapes has made CBS News, NewsAsia, Washington Times, Los Angeles Times, About.com, NBC News and many other media outlets hail him as “The Houdini of our time.”
Lovell has been buried alive, shackled and dropped into the Singapore River, cut celebrity Paris Hilton in half, read the mind of personality Nicole Richie and was challenged by the U.S. Military. He has also been an opening act for both legendary movie actor Tony Curtis and talk show host Larry King during award ceremonies in 2009 and 2012.
