Aussie Food Blogger Born to Eat the USA

Australian Food and Travel Blogger, Gastronomy Gal, is heading to the USA. There GG will travel across the country and blog about the best places to eat and stay along the way.
During her 2 month visit (from October to December 2012) GG will be visiting hundreds of establishments across the country in a bid to put together the ‘ultimate foodies travel map’ for potential visitors to the USA. She may also put on a few pounds in her unrelenting pursuit of knowledge.

GG’s trip zig zags across North America, starting in LA, she then heads all the way across to New Orleans, before returning to the west coast via Texas. GG will then travel up through the Northern States to San Francisco, visit Twilight-heartland Seattle, onto Portland and then bounce back over to the east coast to finish in the Big Apple NYC. She’s covering some serious ground and doing some serious eating so that she can uncover and reveal the hidden culinary delights of this under-appreciated foodie nirvana. The map will be in the form of a series of blog posts, which will showcase her favourite American eateries, hotels, farms, markets, popups and attractions – anything fabulous that is food- and travel-related!
GG is on the lookout for all great places to eat and stay but is particularly interested in the following: the delicious, the delightful, the intoxicating, the local, the green, the boutique, the artisan, the interesting, the weird, the wonderful, the sustainable, the authentic and the truthful.

If you think your establishment is something a little spesh, and would love Gastronomy Gal to visit, she wants to hear from you. Planning is well underway, and the trip is already set to include some exemplary hotels, eateries and farms but she wants to make sure that all the best places are included on the- sure to be fabulous- map.

More information about the author, the blog and her extensive global audience are available on the next page. A Media kit is available upon request.
